LightWerks Partners with University of Idaho's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences
LightWerks partnered with the University of Idaho's College of Agricultural and Life Sciences to integrate state-of-the-art technology into this classroom for their Seed Potato Germplasm Program. Our team equipped the space with an ultra-short throw Panasonic projector, two 86" LG displays, two AVer PTZ cameras, four Shure ceiling microphones, handheld and lapel microphones for audio reinforcement, Extron pendant ceiling speakers, and a WolfVision document camera.

Product Spotlight
SightLine by Da-Lite
Impress any audience with a screen appearing to float in thin air! The Da-Lite SightLine gives you the ability to have a true floating projector screen. For as long as there have been motorized projector screens, the black material, known as the black-drop, has been used to allow the screen to hang at the desired height. While not terribly unsightly, there is still black material hanging from the screen, covering everything behind it. Now there is a way to avoid this black sheet with the Da-Lite SightLine. The SightLine replaces the traditional black-drop with an almost invisible, 1 mm diameter aircraft cable. It opens the sightline above the viewing area to preserve architectural interests and/or camera placement.

Global Supply Chain Issues Show No Sign of Letting Up
The global supply chain continues to struggle.

While the effects of the pandemic should continue to ebb, the inflationary effect of the war in Ukraine and other inflationary pressures continue to provide upward pressure on prices.
In addition, with rising fuel costs, a number of manufacturers and shippers have added fuel surcharges on their products and services as well.

In short, we're in for a long spring and summer, and we expect that supply chain issues will persist through the end of the year.

LightWerks continues to employ a number of strategies - including a few new ones - that we hope will continue to provide the best possible availability in the industry to our customers. Please keep in close touch with your LightWerks representatives to learn more, and thanks very much for your patience!
