Come learn how ACORN, a new partner, has succeeded in making outcomes measurement a reality for behavioral health agencies across the US, Canada, and Australia for the past 15 years. Their questionnaires are designed to be as short and straightforward as possible while still maintaining high reliability and validity. Data helps therapists and clients monitor improvement and make adjustments in treatment as necessary.

House Passes Advancing Telehealth Beyond

COVID-19 ACT


On July 27th, the House passed the Advancing Telehealth Beyond COVID-19 Act, which extends the current telehealth reimbursement flexibilities through 2024. The bill passed with broad bipartisan support by a vote of 416 to 12. The extension also delays the requirement for telemental health patients is seen in person at some point within the 6 months preceding the start of services. The bill now moves to the Senate for consideration.  

CMS Releases HCBS Quality Measures


The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released its first-ever Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) quality measures to promote the consistent assessment of quality within and across state Medicaid HCBS programs. Nationally, over 7 million people receive HCBS under Medicaid. Learn more here

HRSA Best Practices Guide: Telehealth For Behavioral Health Care  


The Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) published a best practice guide for providers on telehealth for behavioral health care.
