Summer Reading is upon us! If you haven't created your Beanstack account, do so before June 25 to log the books you read this summer. Join us for a special summer book club, located on the Patton Homestead porch! We will meet the first Tuesday of the month from 3pm to 4pm. June's book is The Forest of Vanishing Stars, by Kristin Harmel.

Heritage Films and Dan Tremblay Present: The Building of the Essex Schooner "Ardelle"

Wednesday, June 15: 10:30am

Dan Tremblay of Heritage Film Theatre will present Building the Essex Schooner "Ardelle." The "Ardelle" was authentically built in Essex and presently takes passengers out of Gloucester Harbor on sailing trips. He will present the history of the "Ardelle."

Heritage Films are Local Independent Films of History, Mystery, and General Events.

Book Donations Return
Mondays 10:30am - 4pm

PLEASE give us your BOOKS, CDs and DVDs in good condition to sell at our book sales.
DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED AT THE MAIN MEETING ROOM DOORS ONLY, BY A VOLUNTEER.
PLEASE DO NOT bring donations through the Main Entrance to the Library and never leave donations outside the building.
Donations are limited to 4 bags at a time. If you have a donation larger than 4 bags please email the Friends at fohwpl@gmail.com with "BOOK DONATION" in the subject heading and our Donation Coordinator will respond. Don't do email? Call the library and they will forward your telephone number to the correct volunteer.
