Learn about the application process for two amazing paid internship programs that run during the summer. Applications open in early November. Don't miss this opportunity.

Paid Opportunity on Election Night!
TOMORROW, November 2, 2021
The Board of Elections is looking for assistance unloading vans on their dock, transferring ballot boxes to carts for processing, and opening and organizing ballot boxes on election night, November 2, 2021.

This is a great opportunity to see the election process behind the scenes and be civically involved, and it is also a good fundraising activity for student organizations or fraternities and sororities. Masks are required and social distancing will be maintained.

Pay: $15 per hour
Hiring need: 100 people

LEAP Adaptive Basketball

Love basketball? Join youth with physical, sensory, or developmental disabilities as they work on the fundamentals of basketball each week.  This is a non-competitive program where everybody gets the chance to learn and build skills. Transportation is provided.

The Cleveland Food Bank provides bulk fruits and vegetables to the Boulevard Elementary community. Beginning at 1:00 pm the team will bag and box the food items to be placed in the trunk of cars. The car drive-through is in the parking lot from 2:30-4:30 pm. Then the boxes are broken down and the remaining food is redistributed. The Market Day program is a way for Boulevard Elementary families and local area families in need to receive healthy food staples in a convenient way.

Sweeney Endowed Campion Award for Community Service recognizes one sophomore student and one junior student each year with a demonstrated record of involvement in community service and social action, dedication to a faith tradition and/or spirituality, and strong evidence of leadership potential. Students - apply now!

Participate in the VITA Program!
Coming in Spring - Course is registering now
The VITA program helps low to moderate-income individuals and families prepare their income tax returns without paying fees to professional preparers. The VITA program serves low-wage workers, particularly those in families with children, who may be eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). Last year, we helped provide families with millions of dollars of refunds.

  • You do not have to be an accounting or business major!
  • No pre-requisites, studying, or exams. Graded pass/fail.
  • Preparation is expected to be virtual in 2022 and returns will be completed in a campus classroom.
  • 9:00-3:00 pm (with lunch break) software and basic tax training on a Saturday TBD in late January.
  • Finished by April 15, 2022.
  • Students can prepare their own tax returns using the software.

I serve as the virtual liaison for Seeds of Literacy, which works to help adults pass their high school equivalency tests and become functionally literate. According to Seeds of Literacy, 66% of Cleveland is functionally illiterate. L'Arche Cleveland is hiring!
L'Arche Cleveland is a community for adults with and without and without disabilities in the Cleveland area. We have four homes where we serve 14 Core Members (residents with disabilities) 24/7. We are looking for dedicated assistants (paid caregivers to join our community!
OVERNIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE!

  • Ensure the safety of Core Members
  • Assist with morning routines and breakfast
  • Work on schoolwork and studying through the night and get PAID!

Work as little as one shift a week up to full time! No prior experience or certifications are needed.
