This Week @ MUSM is the official student newsletter of Mercer University School of Medicine designed to keep students up to date on key information and events.
We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Martin H. Greenberg, who served in the School of Medicine as Bioethics Director and Assistant Director of the Office of Professional Practice. He passed away on June 15 at the age of 83.

A brilliantly skilled pediatrician and deeply devoted humanitarian, Dr. Greenberg’s life will be celebrated in a memorial service on July 11. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mercer University School of Medicine in honor of the Department of Bioethics and Medical Humanities, which was recently established in his honor or the Willett Children's Hospital.

Free Residency Explorer™ Tool Compares Students to Previously Matched Applicants
Residency Explorer™ is available for rising 4th-year medical students applying to residency programs. This free research tool allows students to research individual residency programs in 23 specialties, compare themselves to previously matched students and residents entering a program this year, as well as explore program characteristics across many areas of interest. Residency Explorer was created by the nine national organizations involved in the transition to residency, including the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). While Residency Explorer does not advise students where to apply or predict where they will match, it can help them research and develop a list of programs they are interested in applying to.
