Classroom Volunteers Needed for Ramos Elementary
"Volunteering at Ramos was always the bright spot of my week. The kids were so excited to see you and craved individual attention. I really felt like my help was needed, meaningful & appreciated."
- A Ramos Volunteer from Asbury
Now that in-person learning has been reinstated, Ramos Elementary, our partner school, is in need of volunteers (vaccinated and masked) to work with Ramos teachers and students. Learn how you can be a part of this life-changing experience at asburylv.org/ramos.
October is Pastors Appreciation Month!
On Sunday, October 10, we'll be celebrating our pastors in recognition of Pastors Appreciation Day. As we approach that day, we hope you'll take time to say a special "thanks" to our pastors! Send an email, a card of thanksgiving, or another affirmation for their ministry at Asbury. Cards can be sent to the church office.
Honor a Life Well-Lived
Dr. Chris Hena’s father, Dominic is celebrating his 100th birthday on September 18th. In honor of him and all he has done for the people of Liberia, Asbury has set a goal to raise $2500 to build a well; and your donation can help bring clean drinking water to a Liberian community for the first time. Learn more at asburylv.org/HenaWell; or donate immedately at asburylv.org/give.
