The Goffstown Public Library Is Open For Full Service

Parking Lot Pick-Up remains an option. Call us from the parking lot, open your trunk/back door, and we will place your items there.

Seating and computer use: Some seating will not be available, and computer usage is now back to a first-come, first-served basis.

The Children’s Room will not be available for play.

Tuesday, August 3 at 3pm: Teen Cuisine Candy Sushi: Create Japanese inspired cuisine using sweet treats. Registration required.

Tuesday, August 3 at 5pm: National Night Out: This annual community-building event, hosted by the Goffstown Police Department, promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our community safer. There will be a Library hosted table, please stop by and join us for a fun family night! This event is taking place at Goffstown High School, 27 Wallace Road.

Wednesday, August 11 at 8:30pm: Skywatch: See what is up in the summer sky with help from the NH Astronomical Society. Registration appreciated.

Thursday, August 19 at 10am: The Breakfast Book Club: Chat about any book by any author that you love over breakfast treats and beverage. Registration required.

Sky Watch

All ages are welcome to join us and our friends from the NH Astronomical Society to see what is up in the summer sky. The Sky Watch will take place at the Goffstown Water Precinct Field on Rt. 114.

National Night Out

Please stop by and join us for a fun family night! Dianne and Patti will be there at a Library hosted table with a Prize Wheel, along with Aimee Huntemann, Chairperson of the Library Board of Trustees, with the plans for the Library's Building Addition, ready to answer any of your questions.
This annual community-building event, hosted by the Goffstown Police Department, promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our community safer. Patrons can drop off donated items to the Library during business hours, and at the end of each week, a staff person will deliver the items to the Manchester Animal Shelter.

The Bookshelf: New Teen Titles

The teen space is full of amazing books that are just right for a lazy, warm day. Your next great read may hold a touch of romance, be a story of mystery and intrigue, or you may choose to get lost in a fantasy. Click on the picture above and explore the new teen titles that just hit the bookshelf.
New teen fiction, nonfiction, and graphic novels can be found on the windowsill in the 2nd floor teen space.

August features two new craft bags for tweens and teens in grades 5-12. Bags will contain the major supplies needed, plus directions.
No registration is required, but pickup is first come, first served. We'll have a new bag Friday, August 6 & 13. Bags will be available in the Library foyer as supplies last.

Are you wondering what Teen Advisory Board — TAB for short — is and why you should join? Attend the TAB meeting Wednesday, August 18 at 6pm and find out!
TAB is a group of tweens and teens, ages 10 to 14, that meets for one hour, once a month. TAB collaborates with the Teen Services Library Assistant to help improve teen programs and the teen space, suggests materials such as books and games, and creates ideas to help connect the Library with the community.

Ride with the Manchester Transit Authority to your next hair salon appointment, grocery store visit, social gathering, medical appointment, and more!
Manchester Transit Authority provides on-demand service now available Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm. Make a reservation directly with Manchester Transit Authority as early as 1 week prior, and at least 24 hours in advance.
Rides to medical appointments, riders with disabilities, and those age 62+ receive priority booking. Service will be provided on a first come first serve basis and will be available "curb to curb" from any location in the Town of Goffstown to any other location in the Town of Goffstown or any medical facility in the City of Manchester or Town of Bedford.
- Connect with MTA Route #6 at Shaws Plaza for Manchester, Concord, and Nashua service.
- All buses are ADA accessible.
