Emergency Rental Assistance Funds

Need assistance submitting your application and documentation for unpaid rent and utility assistance through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)? For eligibility requirements and to apply, visit Broward.org/Rent Assistance. You can apply online, or there are three in-person application intake locations in Broward County (appointment required):
  • Housing Foundation of America in Pembroke Pines
  • Housing Foundation of America in Lauderhill
  • Crisis Housing Solutions in Coral Springs
Call the Intake Scheduling Hotline at 1-800-204-0557 for an appointment. Through ERAP, eligible renters in Broward County may receive up to 12 months of rent and utility assistance, plus an additional three months if funds are available and there is a need to ensure housing stability.​
