On Friday, December 10th, a terrible tragedy hit southwestern Kentucky. An E4 tornado struck Mayfield, Kentucky, and the surrounding communities, leaving devastation in its wake. By God's grace, community churches gathered together to provide relief to their neighbors, and Caring Partners was blessed to donate personal care products to support their efforts.

The photos above show members of the CPI mission team loading the ministry's truck with supplies, destined for Clinton, Kentucky. Once there, CPI missionaries Dr. Adam & Rhonda Reed were met by local pastors collecting supplies for the communities of Clinton, Fulgham, and Mayfield, Kentucky. The products donated by CPI - Lysol & Baby wipes, Hand Sanitizer, and new Home Health Care products will be able to support local shelters, homeowners, and disaster relief workers in the tornado zone.

Please pray specifically for Pastor Glen and his team in the Clinton/Fulgham/Mayfield communities. There is a huge job ahead, and the relief efforts will go on for quite some time. Our prayer is that his team will be able to provide physical and spiritual relief to the people of Kentucky devastated by this storm - we know our Lord provides!

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord,..." Psalms 121:1-2

Honoring Dr. Charles O. Dillard
Dr. COD
Dr. Charles O. Dillard, a founding Board Member of Caring Partners International, was recently awarded the distinction of a Great Living Cincinnatian by the Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Dillard has had a distinguished career in healthcare, the U.S. military, and the field of philanthropy. Dr. Dillard graduated from Fisk University and the Meharry Medical College and cared for the inner-city and underserved communities of Cincinnati as a medical doctor for 50 years. He served his country in the armed forces, first in the Air Force during the Vietnam era, then in the Army National Guard in the 1970s, retiring as a Brigadier General. Dr. Dillard remains active in charitable work in Cincinnati, serving with several organizations to benefit military readiness, minority communities, and children in need.

Almost every week, Dr. Dillard brings donated medical supplies from TriHealth hospital facilities to the CPI warehouse in Franklin, Ohio. His efforts have benefitted Christian healthcare facilities all over the world, including hospitals and physicians in Haiti, Nigeria, Kenya, and Guatemala.

When asked what quality must a great leader possess Dr. Dillard answers, "humility". Thank you, Dr. Chuck, for being a humble servant of the Lord - He has used your life to impact thousands around the world, in Jesus' Name!
