On Sunday, November 7th at 2 pm, we will be having a Milestones Ministry Workshop to decorate your own “Faith Chest” and receive your first milestone.
We will begin by recognizing the milestones in the lives of each of our members. They are experiences that offer us an opportunity to celebrate God’s presence and be reminded of our identity as children of God. Using milestones as a basis for ministry within the church is a powerful way to engage church members of all ages and stages of life in nurturing their faith and spiritual growth.
The Faith Chest is a container to hold cherished items representing your faith journey. Our Sunday School children will decorate your first stone, “HOPE” as a memento of the workshop.

We will be having a youth retreat for grades 7-12 at Templed Hills (Bellville, OH) on Friday, November 12 after school to late afternoon on Saturday, November 13. Friends are welcome. No cost for members; $10 for friends. Please contact Pastor Gaye to register.

Trunk or Treat Returns!
Saturday, October 30 at 1pm.
Bring your kids, grandkids, friends, and neighbors to join in this safe, fun Halloween event. Kids go trunk to trunk gathering candy, and we'll have a costume parade around the parking lot. Last year was a great turnout, so let's get festive, and join us for some family fun!

Please send names of departed loved ones to the church office by Sunday, October 24 to be included in our bulletin insert.
You may also send digital photos to the church email by Oct. 24 to be included in a photo slideshow. We will include photos used in last year's presentation, so you do not need to resend previous photos.

Cabaret: Friday, October 8th at 8PM at the Akron Civic Theatre. Masks are required to attend.
Bibles to third graders will be distributed on October 17. Please contact Helen by October 10 to ensure your child or grandchild is on our list.
Pastor Gaye will be on vacation October 18-24. We will have a guest preacher on Sunday, October 24. Please contact an Elder if you are in need of pastoral assistance during this time.
