Online Survey Coming Soon

As Trinity goes through this time of transition preparing to search for a new Rector, the Vestry and leadership of the church has hired a consultant to help assess priorities. You will be receiving information about our on-line survey within the next couple of weeks. We strongly urge all our parishioners to take the time to thoughtfully complete this survey, which should take only 10 minutes. Your input will be invaluable to the Vestry, as we make plans for our future.

Ashley comes back this Sunday!

The Rev. Ashley Harper-Oberle, our home-grown Episcopal Deacon & soon-to-be-Priest, returns this coming Sunday, July 21 to preach at both services. Welcome back, Ashley!

Food Pantry Sunday

This Sunday is Food Pantry Sunday at Trinity. Please leave your items at the Helping Center display in the Narthex. Cash and checks are also welcome. Make checks payable to the Helping Center and place in the display envelope. Here is a list of items needed:

Peanut Butter, Green Beans, Soups, Corn and any canned fruit

School Nurse Donations

It is again time for Trinity’s School Nurse Donations

The Ministry and Outreach Commission presents each nurse from seven schools in our community with a check to be used to help the needs of the students she sees in her clinic. We also purchase clothing items for the nurses to distribute so that children may change soiled or torn items and quickly return to class. If you’d like to donate money to purchase these items, please put your check made out to Trinity with School Nurses in the subject line, in the collection plate, or on the poster in the Narthex. If you prefer cash, there are envelopes on the poster. Please turn in your donations in by August 11, so that we can purchase and deliver the items to the nurses as soon as possible. Thank you for your generosity!

Warm Welcome!

We warmly welcome the Rev. Robert Chambers to our Trinity team as Assisting Supply Priest. His ministry will primarily be a Sunday ministry, serving here two Sundays/month. One Sunday we will serve together, and his second Sunday, the Sunday I take off, he will both preach & preside at worship. I am so grateful to have a priest colleague. We are so blessed to have Rev. Robert make this kind of long-term commitment to Trinity which enhances our steady priest leadership during our transition. I have enjoyed knowing Rev. Robert since our days together as seminary classmates. I am genuinely excited for him to get to know us, and for us to get to know him. Please extend a warm welcome to Rev. Robert on his next Sunday among us, July 28. Rev. Robert and his family live in Austin, and we will look forward to worshiping with them on any Sunday they can join us.

With gratitude, Claire
