September is REALTOR® Safety Month
NAR's REALTOR® 2021 Member Safety Report
Highlights from the report:
  • The typical respondent meets prospective clients whom they’ve never met before either at their office or in a neutral location 65% of the time.
  • 72% have personal safety protocols in place that they follow with every client. This is more likely among females (75%) than among males (64%).
  • 38% of REALTORS® said that they have participated in a self-defense class.Among those who participated in a REALTOR® safety course,
  • 39% said they feel more prepared for unknown situations after taking a REALTOR® Safety course.

Code of Ethics Reminder:
All REALTORS® MUST Take COE by December 31, 2021
Due to changes adopted by the NAR Board of Directors, the TREC Legal II class no longer satisfies the NAR requirement for REALTOR® Code of Ethics training.
All REALTORS® must complete Code of Ethics training every three years, with the current deadline being December 31, 2021.
Failure to complete the requirement will lead to suspension of membership. Check your status on NAR's website.
Four Rivers AOR is proud to announce that 70% of our membership has completed the NAR Code of Ethics this cycle! CONGRATULATIONS to you all, only 30% to go!
This requirement also applies to Appraiser Members of NAR.
