New DIS Assistant Principal
 
Brian Micocci earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University and his Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at Arlington. Upon graduation, Mr. Micocci began his education career in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD at R.L. Turner high school as an English teacher and coach. Since then, Mr. Micocci has served in both Keller ISD and Birdville ISD in the same capacities for the last 16 years. We are pleased to welcome Mr. Micocci’s as the new 5th grade Assistant Principal at DIS!
New DIS School Resource Officer
 
Officer Wormley is joining DIS and the Southlake Police Department for the 2021-2022 school year. He previously worked at the John Peter Smith Hospital Police Department and before that spent twenty-one years at the Euless Police Department. Ten of his years with Euless were as a School Resource Officer. We are pleased to welcome Officer Wormley as the new SRO at DIS!

We are excited to have the opportunity to work with your families. If your student would like to speak to their counselor there are Counseling Request forms in the front office.
Students may stop by at any time during the day to see either counselor.
