Project Green Schools Annual Golf Tournament A Success!
Project Green Schools held our Annual Golf Tournament and Luncheon at the White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts on August 2, 2021. Golfers participated in an active day outdoors to help raise funds to support Project Green Schools’ mission of developing the next generation of environmental leaders through education, project-based, solutions-based learning, and community service for K-12 students and schools.

“Participation in this annual fundraiser gives us the ability to bring environmental and ocean conservation education to schools in Massachusetts and across the globe for the upcoming school year through our programming, curriculum and various resources,” said Robin Buchanan, Founder & Executive Director of Project Green Schools. “I sincerely thank all participants for their continuous support which helps us engage students, both inside the classroom and out in communities, with project-based learning to encourage an understanding of ways to positively impact the planet we share.”
Participants took the “Green Pledge,” in which each golfer vowed a commitment to help reduce the ecological footprint of the event through measures such as reusable water bottle filling stations, solar-powered golf carts and charging stations, proper recycling, vegetarian meal choices and more.
