Parent Conferences September 20-24

Parent conferences are this week, and we look forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's progress at Vessels this year. We also wish to continue to bolster the positive momentum your child has experienced academically and socially-emotionally. Below is a list of tips to make conferences more student-centered while helping to keep the focus on student success:

  1. Provide teachers with information on what motivates your child.
  2. Clue your child's teacher in on events at home that may lead to success or may impede their academic or social-emotional health at school.
  3. Ask how your child is doing academically, socially, and emotionally.
  4. Ask about academic strengths and weaknesses.
  5. Ask if they need help in any specific areas and develop a collective plan to help support growth inside and outside school.

We are a team committed to the success of all children. Let's continue to work together to ensure that all our Bulldogs succeed and grow!

Please remember that September 20, 21, 23, and 24 are minimum days (kindergartners dismissed at 1:20 p.m. First through sixth-grade students dismissed at 1:20 p.m.). Wednesday, 9/22, is a non-student day!
