Nov. 9 Cannabis Operator Stakeholder Meeting

California Department of Cannabis Control and City of San Diego Cannabis Business Division (CBD) staff are hosting a cannabis operator stakeholder meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 9. During the meeting staff will provide an overview of improvements to the Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting and Compliance (METRC) Seed-to-Sale Tracking System and hold a question and answer session. RSVP for the event.

Cannabis Regulatory Code Amendments

Due to a noticing error, the City Council will re-hear the code amendments on Tuesday, Nov. 15, starting at 2 p.m. Learn more about the two code amendments related to redistricting and conditional use permit extensions.

Cannabis Equity Assessment Approved!

California GOBiz Grant: Cannabis Operator Input Needed

As part of the California Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) grant requirements, the City requests cannabis operators fill out an anonymous demographics survey.

The survey is part of the City's Cannabis Equity Assessment. Survey responses will support City efforts to seek additional state funding aimed at providing financial and technical cannabis licensing assistance to those hardest hit by the War on Drugs and help ensure equitable access and ownership opportunities.
