Happy September! It is hard to believe that the leaves will be changing colors and the air will have that crisp bite to it. Once again showing us God's wonder.

Also, we are getting down to the wire for the Parish Picnic! So much planning and thought have gone into it to make it the best yet! Just another reason why St. Paul's is an amazing place not only to worship and grow in faith, but also grow friendships that will last a lifetime.

The Religious Education Office at Holy Family Parish is seeking a part-time Night Office Coordinator. The Night Office Coordinator is responsible for taking RE registrations, assisting with sacramental celebrations, and student retreats, minimal record keeping and general office responsibilities as assigned. Interact with catechists, volunteers and classroom needs as necessary; answering phones and contacting families; enjoys working with children and families.  A knowledge of Microsoft Word and basic Excel is required. Teaching experience is helpful but not required. Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday late afternoon into the evening; Sunday mornings during the school year. Hours per week fluctuate between 10 hrs. to 15 hrs. Active Catholic participants who are interested in this position, please submit a resume to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood, IL via email to RE@holyfamilyshorewood.org by May 30, 2017.

There will be a Day of Recollection for Women on Wednesday, September 15th, from 11:00am -1:00 pm at St. Mary Nativity Church, 706 N. Broadway, Joliet, IL 60435.  The recollection will include several short talks, Eucharistic Adoration, and the opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation. All of the women in the parish are invited. Please bring a friend! 
A Prayer For Those Suffering From
Hurricane Ida


For all who have suffered injury or death as a result of Hurricane Ida, and for their families and loved ones, we pray to the Lord.
For all who have sustained losses in the storm, that they may know God’s healing and care in those to whom they turn for assistance, we pray to the Lord.
