As Methodists, we are called to cultivate more disciples and deeper disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our community and world. You are invited to join us on the journey.
This week
Current Sermon Series
Unafraid: Places Jesus Walked
Jesus' ministry reached from Galilee to Samaria to Judea. The disciples may not have always expected Jesus to go to these or many other places, but Jesus was not hesitant to do the unexpected. Join us for the final sermon in the series where we have been exploring a few of the places Jesus walked, and learning how we can follow in his footsteps, unafraid!
Note: The link to livestream the service on Sundays at 8:15 is located at the bottom of the e-news.

Dan the Animal Man at PUMC
We are bringing the ZOO to PUMC on October 2 at 10:30am. Come learn how God designed animals to do what they do and they do it very well. May it make us realize that we are designed with a purpose, with gifts & talents. Dan will bring 4 of his furry and feathery friends. Meet us out on the lawn and enjoy the show! Stay for a free lunch after the program.

Pastor Appreciation Month
October is Pastor Appreciation month! We invite you to send cards or notes to Pastor Jabe and Pastor Katie to let them know just how special they are to all of us at PUMC. Cards can be mailed to the church at 4111 Airport Rd., Pinehurst, NC 28374 or dropped off at the church office.

Celebration Sunday, Oct. 24
Join us for Celebration Sunday on October 24 at the Fair Barn, where we will have one united worship service at 11am and a Celebration Luncheon immediately following. Please, return your reservation slip to the church by Oct. 3. There are labeled baskets in the narthex for your reservation, as well as, your commitment cards.
This special day is also when we will take one new step forward in stewardship. Stewardship is an often-misunderstood area of the Christian faith. Rather than focusing on the church’s need to receive, we hope this stewardship experience will open all of us to our need to give, for our own spiritual growth. Our prayer is that God will speak to your heart through this invitation to Celebration Sunday, where together we’ll make our financial commitment as an act of worship in the Fair Barn.
Kid's Connection Postponed
With the way COVID is affecting school attendance we are delaying the start of Kid's Connection until November (during Sunday School hours. 9:30-10:30 & 10:40-12:00). We encourage your students to be in worship with you and then join us for Kid's Connections before or after your service.
Collecting Pop Tabs
We are once again collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House! Every tab you donate helps provide a temporary home away from home for the families of sick or injured children. Save your pop tabs and drop them off at the church. There is a container in the missions corner of the narthex for your donations.
