Prioritized Instructional Planning
This workshop will provide participants with an introduction to Prioritized Instructional Planning and the resources, processes, and support available to ensure the most effective and
meaningful learning experiences for students.
Participants will gain insight into effectively planning for teaching the most critical content (standards), including an overview of eight steps for planning instructional cycles that include high-quality instruction and assessment. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in planning for their own classrooms, while collaborating with North Dakota colleagues.
As a participant, you can look forward to:
- Learning about North Dakota Prioritized Standards
- Engaging in the Prioritized Instructional Planning process
- Planning for your own classroom
- Collaborating with North Dakota teachers to refine your planning process
- Walking away from the workshop with a fully-completed instructional cycle customized to your classroom!
Available Workshops:
All workshops will be 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM CT.
All workshops will be VIRTUAL with connection information shared closer to each workshop date.
Resources to have present during your session:
- Printed copy of your ND Content Standards (or digital access to standards)
- Content area textbooks or classroom resources used
- District curriculum guide (if applicable)
