Hello, April!.

We hope you'll join us for one of the many special events we have planned for April. Read below for more information about our adult watercolor class with Carol Bruno, and our special events for kids and tweens.


We also have a special collection of Ukrainian crafts that will be in our display case this month. Please stop by to check it out!

Lisa Walsh of Well Works Studio will draw on her many years experience in interior design to teach us the basic principles of space planning, paint color and finishing touches so you can pull a room together with ease and confidence.

If You're Spring Cleaning, Please Save Linens

We will accept clean, gently used linens such as towels, sheets, fleece blankets, and other types of single layer blankets (no pillows, filled comforters or stuffed animals.)


We will also accept all types of unopened pet food for dogs, cats, small animals and even wildlife.

Storywalk®

Coming to Sickles Playground in April

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson. 

Our latest StoryWalk® book, "The Hidden Rainbow" by Christie Matheson will soon be on display Sickles Park playground!


This beautiful book teaches colors and counting, and describes how bees help flowers grow.


Little Silver Library has collaborated with Little Silver Recreation to bring another StoryWalk® book to our community.  


Currently On Display: Ukrainian Crafts

Little Silver residents Luba and Walter Kasian have shared a collection of hand-decorated Easter eggs, woodcarvings, ceramics and embroidery from their native Ukraine.


Many of the exquisitely embroidered items were hand-crafted by family members.


The Kasians' beautiful and informative display will be in the library for the month of April.

Non-Fiction/History Book Club

Monday, May 15 at 6:30 PM


The Non-Fiction/History Book Club will be discussing "The Years of Lyndon Johnson: The Passage of Power" by Robert A. Caro.


The group will meet on Monday, May 15 to discuss the second half of the book.

Museum Passes
