Dear Friend of PAIR,
We are excited to share that today we are launching PAIR's pro bono Training Bank!
Here, you can find the recordings and accompanying slides for all of the trainings we have hosted this year (including October's Immigration Court training series).
Moving forward, we will be consistently updating this page after each training—so please be sure to bookmark it for your reference! Buttons containing links to the Training Bank and other pro bono pages will also be included at the end of every monthly volunteer email, including this one.
Speaking of trainings, we will be hosting two trainings in November: an 1) Overview of Immigration Relief Options and an 2) Overview of Withholding of Removal. You can register by using the links below.
And as always, we have included a list of asylum-seeking clients who are in need of a pro bono/team to directly represent them in their case. Typically, PAIR's pro bono teams from law firms consist of one or more attorneys, a supervising partner, and often one or more paralegals/support staff.
In recent months, we have been collaborating with new firms in taking on a full representation asylum case. If you're an interested partner or associate, I'd be very glad to talk more with you about this pro bono opportunity, and how I can help support you in building a pro bono team at your firm.
In the meantime, I look forward to seeing many of you again at our upcoming trainings later this month!
In solidarity,
Melanie
