CONVENTION WORKBOOK II IS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE
You can access Workbook Part II here. Printed copies of Workbook II will be mailed to those who requested such prior to the deadline; a printed, bound version of Workbook Part I and Part II is being prepared for other voting and advisory delegates attending the convention and not receiving a mailed copy.

The Michigan District Here We Stand Campaign has raised over $10.25 million in gifts, pledges, and goals and has received over $10.16 million in cash so far. These funds are supporting the 4 initiatives of the campaign: Professional Church Worker Scholarships, Innovative Missional Ministries, Endowment Fund, and International Ministry. There is still time to help us reach our $3 million goal for Professional Church Worker Scholarships and Michigan District Endowment. Visit herewestand.michigandistrict.org.

WOMEN'S HEALTH DAY
September 10 | Ann Arbor
Women's Health Day is a community outreach event surrounding National Women's Health Day. The event encourages women to reconnect and set aside time for self-care. Proceeds from this event will benefit both the local Alzheimer's Association and the St. Paul Scholarship Fund. For more information, click here >

The Night the Teachers Slept on the Roof
It all started when our principal, Karen Friebe, participated in a “bed build” last year with her husband and told our staff how impactful it was for them both. The organization that she did this with is called Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This wonderful organization builds beds for local kids who don’t have one, so that “No Kids Sleep on the Floor in Our Town” ... Read more >

LIKE NEW LSB HYMNALS
St. John, Houghton Lake has nearly 150 LSB hymnals beyond what than they can use or will need. They would like to donate them to a Michigan District congregation that will make use of them, giving preference to congregations that might not otherwise be able to afford them.
