Detroit Towing Association Bids Farewell to a Beloved Member


Detroit, MI -- Detroit Towing Association announced the passing of a beloved member, Robert (Bobby) Lee Hardison, Jr. of Bobby's TCB Towing Service, Inc. in Detroit. "We are all saddened by the passing of Bobby. He had a great spirit and together with his wife, Denise, bring so much to the towing community. He was among the hardest working, most passionate and dedicated people I know. He thrived off helping others," said Barry Foster, President of Detroit Towing Association.


Mr. Hardison passed away peacefully on December 28, 2021. His wife, Denise Boyce-Hardison, will continue on in their business they have owned and operated since 2003. Denise said that Bobby wished for a long line of tow trucks at his funeral.

Denise and Bobby Hardison (second row, right) helped organize a very successful turkey giveaway with the Detroit Towing Association (pictured above) at Second Ebenezer Church in November 2021. The DTA donated 2,000 turkeys to Detroiters in need that day.
