“If a hypocrite is standing between you and God, it just means the hypocrite is closer to God than you are.”
– Zig Ziglar

“I don’t go to church because it is filled with hypocrites.” How many times have you heard that line? I love when people say that to me because I respond with, “Yes and I am one of them … what’s your point? Come join us at church,” I say, “because our Lord’s Word tells us that we all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory.”

…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23

Yes, God’s church is filled with sinners. But it’s not about the sinners, it’s about The Savior who has claimed us lost and condemned people and has purchased and won us with his blood. Our righteousness does not come from us, it comes from Jesus Christ alone. That is what we are reminded of every Sunday! That is why we go to church to remind each other that we are loved and redeemed children of God, and that together we love because he loved us first.

This week, rest in the knowledge that God loves you, claimed you as his own and gave you his righteousness.

By His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.
– 1 Corinthians 1:30

Thanks be to God!

See you Sunday as we celebrate what Jesus has done for you and for me.

I can’t wait!
Join us THIS Sunday, July 11th, for a Sunday Service of Worship and celebration at 9:00 am. There will not be a 10:30 service. Please join us afterwards for coffee and complimentary Churros from the local Churro Truck! We can't wait to praise our Lord in song and celebrate being together!
Aracely and Kat recently welcomed their beautiful daughter, Aralyn into the world! To help show our love and support, a meal chain has been set up to help them out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Click the link to sign up to make and take them a meal if it is on your heart!

Please contact Brookelyn at 720-550-3505 if you have any questions

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7
