After nearly two years since our last in-person pool championship, we're thrilled to welcome you to Greensboro this week for a return to racing. We'd like to give a special thank you to our volunteers, organizing committee, local community, and partners for making this event a reality.

Off the deck, we hope you enjoy socializing with your fellow swimmers in the Golden Road beer garden, which opens at noon Friday-Sunday and cheering on Team USA at the Tokyo Watch Party Saturday evening.

Please carefully review all pre-event details to ensure a wonderful experience. Here's the estimated timeline, including warm-up times for each session. Heat sheets are now posted for the 50s, 100s, and 200s. The digital meet program with heat/psych sheets compiled is also available.
Before You Arrive

Review and be prepared to follow the COVID-19 protocols to ensure a safe environment for all attendees. Do not attend if you’re experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. If you experience symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 within two weeks after the conclusion of the event, please contact Event Services.

Swimmers will only be able to enter the facility in sessions in which they are entered. Credentials, along with goody bags, will be provided at the registration table just outside the facility entrance. Review the facility map to get acquainted with the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

In order to receive a credential, swimmers MUST complete this form in advance. Note: This takes the place of the paper waiver swimmers have signed at previous USMS national championships. We are going green and streamlining the process. If you haven't already done so, please remember to complete this form prior to arriving in Greensboro.

Spectators won't be allowed, though family and friends are encouraged to volunteer as timers or lap counters to get a front row seat and follow along with our live coverage.
Event Check-In

  • Check-in is required for all events 400 yards or longer.
  • The check-in deadline has been moved to 7 p.m. Eastern time the day prior to the event (rather than 7 a.m. the morning of the event in previous years) so swimmers can be better prepared for when to arrive at the pool.
  • The deadline for the 1650 and 1000 freestyle is 7 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, July 20.
  • The deadline for the 500 freestyle and 400 IM is 7 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, July 21.
  • Heat sheets will be posted online by approximately 8 p.m. Eastern time the night before each distance event.
  • Failure to check in will result in the swimmer being scratched from the event.

Media
We want you to enjoy your time with friends and teammates at Nationals, and that includes taking photos and video for your personal, club, and social media use. However, if you’re planning on photographing, videoing, or conducting interviews with participants for any media outlet or commercial entity, please fill out our Media Pass Request and email publications@usmastersswimming.org if you have additional questions.

Please note: Cameras and recording devices in the pool and drones are prohibited at the event, except use by preauthorized USMS staff or contractors.
What's Your Story?
We're looking to tell the stories of our meet participants for our coverage of the event. Did you overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to compete? Are you aiming to break records? It doesn't matter if this is your first meet or 50th, if you have a good story, we'd like to talk to you. Please send us a brief email.
If you have questions, please contact us.
