Serving Up Success
at Seeds of Grace
Congratulations to TotalLink job seeker Allison, who started a new job in April. Allison works at Seeds of Grace Christian Child Development Center, a Lutheran Church Preschool in Northbrook. She takes lunch counts from the different classrooms, makes lunches for the kids, and delivers them.
"Allison loves when she delivers the lunches, and the students thank her. She's working hard to get into a routine, and she is really enjoying it. The program director and staff appreciate Allison's work as it is a great help to them."

TotalLink Golf Outing Renamed in Honor of Maureen Kogen
Maureen Kogen, one of TotalLink's founding mothers and long-time board member, was passionate about many things and two of them were TotalLink and golf. In honor of her commitment to enhancing the lives of young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and her love of the links, we are proud to rename our annual golf outing - The Maureen Kogen Memorial Golf Outing.
This year's outing will take place on Thursday, June 9, at Glen Flora Country Club. See the ad below or click here for more details.

A Total Success:
The TotalLink Art Show at Restore Hyper Wellness
On April 24, twelve TotalLink artists showcased their artwork at Restore Hyper Wellness in Northbrook. The showcase featured twenty-four spectacular art pieces that displayed thoughtfully crafted abstracts, mixed media, nature, animals, and more. At the show, artists shared with Restore patrons and community members what inspired them to create their pieces as well as their creative process. For more information about purchasing TotalLink’s artists’ work or hosting a future exhibit, please reach out to TotalLink’s Program Director, Madison McGinty, at mmcginty@totallink2.org.

TotalLink Recognizes Two Outstanding Volunteers
|
TotalLink2 Community is proud to announce the recipients of our Volunteer of the Year awards, Rachel Siegel and Megan Davis.
The 2022 Volunteer of the Year Awards recognize two volunteers who have made significant contributions to the mission of TotalLink2 Community through their time, actions, talents, and dedication. It recognizes volunteers who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to consistently support TotalLink’s ideals.
Rachel Siegel has been a constant and tireless volunteer at TotalLink for the last several years. Her work with TotalLink’s website redesign and leading the organization’s first-ever Communication Committee has been instrumental in elevating TotalLink’s marketing and communication efforts.

Megan Davis has volunteered in TotalLink's programs for several years and always brings a positive light and presence. Whether helping out in ArtLab, Girlfriends Group, or Community Life, she provides incredible support to our young adults and facilitators. We missed seeing Megan at the Nuflatot, but Nina, one of TotalLink's participants, was honored to accept the award on Megan's behalf.
