The Power Of Voice
I’m obsessed with podcasts. A typical Gemini (love to learn a little about a lot of things!) I think they are the perfect medium for me. Podcasts offer endless subject choice and flexibility. I listen while walking, grocery shopping, cooking, virtually any activity where it’s appropriate to multitask. Podcasts have become so ubiquitous in such a short amount of time that I've come to take them for granted. It was only a few weeks ago that I started to reflect on the power of the voices I listen to.

I was struck by a recent podcast "What Your Voice Says About You" on goop. Host Erica Chidi interviewed New York Times best selling writer John Colapinto, author of the 2021 release "This Is the Voice," which explores "what our unique sonic signature reveals about our species, our culture, and each one of us." The theme seemed so new yet so essential to everything. I can’t wait to (listen) to it.
Many of my favorite people have distinctive voices (probably explains the staying power of my 17-year relationship with my Irish man; a brogue is pretty irresistible). You can either be very attracted to a voice or voices can be a bit of a turn off. Voices not only communicate meaning, but also express values. We hope you can hear that in our voices from start to finish on every project.
