It's time again for the Art of Science Photomicrography Contest! Images are judged on both technical execution and artistic rendition by an outside panel of photography, science, and art professionals. The three winning photos will be featured on our 2016 calendar, which will be distributed in the January issue of Zebrafish Magazine, and the winners will be awarded a total of $2250.00 in cash prizes. PRIZES:
First Prize $1,000
Second Prize - $750
Third Prize - $500
People's Choice Award - The top five finalists will be featured on the Aquaneering Instagram page for a popular vote. The image with the most "likes" will be featured on the 2016 Art of Science T-shirt. Proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will benefit a scholarship fund to send a first-time attendee to the annual Zebrafish Husbandry Workshop and Meeting. See contest rules for more details. To enter, please submit your photomicrograph(s) and a completed entry form by September 30, 2015. Good luck!

9th European Zebrafish Meeting |

|
Oslo, Norway was the setting for the 9th European Zebrafish Meeting in June. In the beautiful land of the (almost) midnight sun, approximately 700 attendees enjoyed 5 days of meetings, poster sessions, and a wonderful gala dinner at the unique Oslo Opera House. It is a pleasure to help sponsor this meeting, as well as see old friends and associates and meet new ones. |

The Metal Division at Aquaneering has been super busy fabricating Live Haul Fish Transport Tanks for the Departments of Fish and Wildlife for many states in the US. These tanks are dual walled aluminum with insulation. They can have many customized features, such as folding walkways, temperature gauges, oxygen diffusers, aeration, and electrical. Transport tanks have also been fabricated from stainless steel. Fish and Game Departments move fish around their hatcheries or from hatchery to stock out lakes for recreational fishing. Fish farmers may need to move fish around the fish farm or take them to market. Aquaneering has been producing some of the most reliable and rugged transport tanks in the US for almost 30 years!
