California Students Will Continue to Wear Masks
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its guidance for schools continued need to adopt mitigation strategies to support in-person instruction. Consistent with this guidance, as stated in a press release from the California Department of Public Health, all students are required to keep their masks on while indoors. However, the state will not require physical distancing due to the barriers it would present to in-person instruction. The state continues its campaign encouraging vaccination and testing for eligible school-aged children.
