I can’t believe June is here! The themes this month revolve around ocean life. We will also work on some Father’s Day crafts, focus on the book Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, and how to be a good friend.

Our summer schedule officially starts July 6th. Please check our website and emails for the calendar of events, specials, etc.

Thank you for a lovely spring and I look forward to a wonderful summer with your children!

Evaluations
Teachers will be sending out progress reports soon. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to schedule an appointment with your child's teacher. If you want to discuss early intervention with me, feel free to call, email, or discuss in person.
Summer Program
If you would like your child to do additional summer activities and have not done so already, please complete and return the form below with payment as soon as possible.
Graduation
Pre-k graduation is for children entering into Kindergarten in September. Graduation will be held on Friday, June 25th at the Brookside location (1260 Meadowbrook Road). All graduates should be picked up by 3:30pm.

The Merrick Avenue class will begin at 5:00pm and Brookside will begin at 6:00pm. We are limited in time and seats so the ceremonies will only be 45 minutes each. Please do not arrive any earlier than 15 minutes prior to your graduate's ceremony start time. Masks will be required for all attendees.

Merrick Avenue students will have a six-seat limit and Brookside students will be limited to four seats.
Clothing
Socks and sneakers are BEST for the playground. NO OPEN TOE shoes please!

Please replace your child's clothing when it is sent home, especially if they are being potty trained. Children should ALWAYS have 2-3 sets of clothing at TLC.

Now is a good time to change spring clothing to summer clothing.
Sunscreen
Please apply sunscreen each morning. If you want us to re-apply, please complete the form below and return it with sunscreen for your child.
Medicals
Updated forms are needed at the following dates: 3-6-9-12-18 months &
2-3-4-5 years.

You will be reminded as your child's birthday or medical expires.
Please use TLC's form every time.
Medications can be administered with proper doctor's permission and medication that matches. For example: we cannot administer Tylenol if your doctor specified Motrin. It is VERY specific.

All medication must be provided in its original packaging including the cup/syringe. This will ensure proper dispensing of the dose.

If you want medication to be given to your child to manage pain, or if your child has allergies and they require medication, please speak to an MAT trained teacher to check in your forms/medicines.

This Month's Menu
The latest menus can be found on our website.

Please bring in an alternative if your child does not eat what is on the menu. For children under 18 months, please continue to bring in yogurt, fruits/vegetables, and infant snacks. Some of the snacks are not appropriate for their age group and we don’t always have alternatives.

PLEASE LABEL ALL FOOD ITEMS.

As a reminder, children should arrive by 8:30am (Merrick) and 8:45am (Brookside) for breakfast.
