A short documentary film that tells the story of one couple's efforts to save the Eastern Bluebird. After spotting a bluebird outside their cabin located near the Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg, MD, Mark and Jean Raabe built bluebird boxes on their property hoping to stave off the decline in the bluebird population.

Downing of a Flag - Episode 1
Through interviews, archival footage, and photographs, the Confederate Battle flag’s history, meaning, and impact are examined. From its creation and adoption during the American Civil War to its resurrection over the South Carolina State House in 1961 and finally, to its use as a symbol by Dylann Roof who killed nine Black parishioners at Charleston’s historic Mother Emanuel AME Church in 2015. The hour-long documentary Jim Crow of the North explores the origins of housing segregation, examining how racist real estate covenants set the stage for loan refusals, or redlining, in the U.S. The film also looks at the University of Minnesota's Mapping Prejudice Project, a research program that creates a visual representation of structural racism, informing current conversations around racial disparities.
