In this interactive session, delve into the latest developments in health care price transparency with insights from the federal government, leading standards organizations, and industry experts. Hear updates on the price transparency regulations and solutions, including the latest on data exchange standards and reporting requirements. Following the presentations, participate in a small group exercise where you’ll collaborate with peers to develop strategies for overcoming common obstacles and enhancing transparency initiatives within your organization.

The National Association of Health Data Organizations (NAHDO) oversees a common data layout for the submission of All-Payer Claims Data. During this presentation the NAHDO leaders will introduce the layout and discuss their experience implementing it.


The Unique Device Identifier is required for all devices regulated by the FDA and provides a means to track device performance by type, manufacturer, and specific lot. FDA officials will explain how the UDI can be used by providers, patients, health plans, and researchers along with how the agency is identifying high risk implantable devices for use in the proposed update to the HIPAA claims standard.
