VOLUNTEER MINISTRY CENTER - CASWELL MANOR

Caswell Manor will be VMC’s second permanent supportive housing site with 48 one-bedroom apartments each with a private kitchen and bathroom. Permanent supportive housing works to solve chronic homelessness. Caswell Manor will build on the success of Minvilla Manor to place more people in permanent, stable housing. VMC and its community partners will offer all the necessary services to ensure a positive, lasting, cost-effective outcome.

New residents will need essential housekeeping items listed below as they move into their new apartments.

Bins are in the Atrium for donation drop-off. Donated items should be new.

Questions? Contact Charlotte Klieman at kliemanchar@gmail.com or Leonard Bailey at lbailey@chartertn.net.

If you like to shop, this month (October), the FISH Pantry mission is in special need of the following household and personal items:

* Shampoo

* Dish Soap

Our once-a-month FISH team receives phone call requests for food and these additional items; they are then sorted, packed, and delivered to each client's household.

All donations should be newly purchased, and any quantities would be greatly appreciated.

Feel free to contact the church office at 865.523.2189 or bsmith@2ndpres.orgif you have items you would like

to drop off at the church.

 WE ASK YOU TO NOT DONATE FOOD (other than for pets).

Also, note that we have plenty of the following items for now: Bath soap, toilet paper, and adult and children's diapers, so we do not need more of those items at this time.

Did you know? This list changes monthly to reflect current needs!

Thank you for your generosity!

Please keep Sue Jacox, Neal Peebles, the family of Charles Wu, and the family of Charlsey Dunn, Pat Wininger, Jerry Young, Frances Johnson, Arlys Milligan, Beverli White, Doux Robertson, and Peter Douglas Hamilton in your prayers.

On the Pastoral Care page of our website, we will share more specific updates regarding those on our prayer list. It will be updated frequently by the church staff.

Please contact the Church Office with prayer concerns to be listed in the weekly email or bulletin (mvillalta@2ndpres.org, 865.523.2189)
