July is here and Summer time is in full swing here at the beach and the weather is great! Events are sparse this month but we still have the Star Spangled Concert Series every weekend and there is always something to do around town. Rates will be starting at $135.00 a night.

 Thank you to all of our guests and owners who have been supportive of the changes we have made due to COVID-19.
Protecting our employees and guests is uppermost in our minds, so plexiglass barriers have been installed at the front desk. Because our housekeepers perform a thorough cleaning of the rooms upon checkout, which takes a longer time period, we are unable to offer late checkouts at this time. Our continental breakfast has been discontinued for now, but coffee pots & coffee packets are in your room.

 Housekeepers will only clean your room during your stay if you request it, when they do the cleaning you will need to leave the room. The breakfast and hot tub are both reopen as of June 28th; our pool deck chairs are spaced per social distancing guidelines. The lower portion of the pool deck remains a non-smoking area however, smoking is permitted in other designated areas. 

 Effective May 3rd, 2021, Governor Ron Desantis has signed an executive order that all local and state mask mandates have been eliminated. We do however still ask guests to wear face coverings when in the common areas of the property, which mostly includes the hallways, lobby and elevators etc.

Daytona Beach Bandshell Summer Concerts & Fireworks
May 29 - September 5th
In 2021, catch a live summer concert at the Bandshell every Saturday night from May 29 through September 25 starting at 7:15 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9:45 p.m. at the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and Pier. All seating is reserved and includes a chair. General Reserved tickets are $4 / VIP Reserved tickets are $10. 
Enjoying the sights and sounds of summer at this historic coquina amphitheater is so easy - park in the Ocean Center garage, take the crosswalk to Ocean Walk Shoppes and the Daytona Beach Bandshell in Oceanfront Park, and enjoy the show!

2021 Showbiz National Talent Dance Competition

The 2021 Showbiz National Talent Dance Competition will be held at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach June 30-July5, 2021. The event is free and open to the public. More information is available on the event website.
4th of July Spectacular
SUNDAY, JULY 4, 2021 AT 5:30 PM EDT – 9 PM EDT
Come celebrate Independence Day in style! Port Orange Parks & Recreation will be hosting the 4th of July Spectacular from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm at City Center Park. The event will include live music, a kids zone, food trucks, a beer garden, classic car show, and of course FIREWORKS!

This year’s event will be spaced out to promote social distancing. The kids zone will be extended with more dry inflatables and just one large water slide. Hayfire will be live on stage starting at 5:30 pm, and the fireworks will launch from the soccer field parking lot at 9:00 pm. Beer garden proceeds benefit the Port Orange Community Trust. Classic cars can begin arriving as early as 4:00 pm and must be parked by 5:30 pm.
Midtown Music Concert Series
July 10th
The City of Daytona Beach sponsored Midtown Music Concert Series kicks off at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Daisy Stocking Park with a performance by the 7 Street Band. The performance is part of the free summer concert series, which brings the best local bands to the area.
Daisy Stocking Park is located at 550 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. Food and drink vendors will be onsite. Attendees can bring their own chairs; however, coolers are not allowed.
Upcoming free performances from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday evenings include:

Downtown Daytona Nights Food Truck Rally
July 23rd
The Downtown Daytona Nights Food Truck Rally will be held at the Market@Magnolia street venue (Magnolia Avenue will be closed to traffic from Beach Street to Palmetto Avenue). Don't miss this fun event happening on three Friday nights this summer - July 23, August 20 and September 17 - featuring food trucks, live music (1-2 stages), show cars and a downtown merchants' sidewalk sale. Plenty of free parking - along Beach Street and in the public lots located behind the Riverfront Shops.
