Summer Camp 

Summer is in full swing at Joshua's Place with our Kings Summer Camp program. We have nearly 50 kids who come every Monday and Wednesday to enjoy a hot lunch provided by Kings Local School District. Every student is invited to participate in various weekly fun learning activities. Thank you to our volunteers who help make summer camp possible!

Summer Reading Programs

We are excited to partner with local teachers and volunteers again this summer to offer our Summer Reading Recovery and Reading Lab programs. These programs provide opportunities for students to develop reading skills outside the classroom throughout the year.

Our Summer Reading Recovery program in Kings, Lebanon, Little Miami, and Deer Park school districts have over 60 students involved this summer! Children strengthen their phonics and reading skills through one-to-one tutoring, play fun interactive games that teach sight words, and build relationships! We couldn't do this without the support of our schools and 53 tutors!

South Lebanon Elementary has worked with Joshua's Place since 2018 to create a fun and creative Reading Lab. Teachers and students engage in an hour of activities and curriculum every Wednesday morning. The kids learn the joy of reading and love seeing the teachers outside of school!
