Celebrating Commencement 2024 | |
The 174 members of the School of Medicine Class of 2024 arrived for their commencement ceremony as students and left as physicians. The 93 women and 81 men gathered with family, friends and loved ones on the lawn outside Georgetown University’s historic Healy Hall. CNN chief medical correspondent Sanjay Gupta, MD, delivered the commencement address and was presented with an honorary doctor of science degree.

The 369 graduates of the School of Nursing gathered on Healy Lawn to celebrate the commencement of the Class of 2024 surrounded by their friends and family. Patricia Polgar-Bailey, FNP, MPH, PsyD, a family nurse practitioner and clinical psychologist at the Charlottesville Free Clinic in Virginia, delivered the commencement address and received an honorary doctor of science degree.

Noah Money (N’24) always had a drive to want to help people, which led him to pursue a career in nursing and the US Navy. Money was commissioned May 20 as an ensign in the Navy during a ceremony at the US Navy Memorial in Washington, DC.
