San Joaquin River Conservancy's April Board Meeting and Workshop
Wednesday, April 6th, 2022
The board meeting starts at 9:30 am, followed by a workshop at 10 am
This Wednesday morning, the State Conservancy will host a public workshop where the topic will be "Strategy for Operations and Maintenance." The workshop agenda includes an overview of Conservancy Properties including those currently open to the public and what it will take to provide access to properties not currently open to the public. There will also be a review of the $15 million state budget allocation and an overview of the role of a Joint Powers Authority.

Members of the public are invited to join the workshop to ask questions and make comments.

The board meeting and workshop will be held in person at the Madera County Government Center, 200 W. Fourth Street, Madera, CA 93637, and via Webex:

Stay up to date on Measure P spending plans by attending the next Parks, Recreation, and Arts Commission meeting on Monday, April 18, at 5:30 pm. PRAC meetings are held in person at Fresno City Hall or via Zoom.

We will send a reminder notice after the City publishes the meeting agenda.

Registration for the 2022 season of River Camp opened to the general public on March 1st and some weeks have filled up. It's not too late to register your child for a week of fun and exploration down by the San Joaquin River. Don't wait, check out the River Camp programs and register your camper today!

5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Reception in the River Center Barn with music and opportunity to meet the Fresno Poets

6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Live dinner music, bring your dinner, lawn chair, or blanket 

7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Reading by the Fresno Poets with book sales and signing to follow
