CHICAGO TITLE KICKING OFF THE BILLS SEASON IN STYLE!

GO BILLS!!

Important Update For Title Insurance Transactions!

NYS Rate Calculator

Title Insurance orders can sometimes get complicated! There's often a lot of research that goes into preparing your order for examination. Part of that process is the generation of an Order Acknowledgment package, which includes the Rate Estimate. Our office generates that rate through the NYS Rate Calculator, a website that is available to everyone. You can even access it through our website at www.northernny.ctic.com

If a loan amount changes, or additional endorsements have to be added, our office can generate a new rate sheet for you.

It is important to please have a corrected rate sheet at closing, in order to ensure all the premium checks are correct. And more importantly, please send in that rate sheet with your closing package to the Chicago Title office so our billing department can close the order more efficiently.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jeff Leichtnam at jeffrey.leichtnam@ctt.com or 716.200.5872.

WHY CHOOSE CHICAGO TITLE FOR ABSRACT AND SEARCH WORK?

Customers trust Chicago Title with some of the most complex search projects in Western New York. That's because our experts have the knowledge and experience that no other title company can match. Whether it's a 100 acre industrial park or a large commercial property with railroad easements, these sometimes ugly projects can take several weeks or even months to complete.

But did you know that our Search team can also update an old abstract in less than a week? That's right, I typed that correctly: less than a week on most abstract updates/continuations. Send us your order and once we receive the original abstract, we'll send it to one of our searchers for fast turnaround. We know that many deals have urgent deadlines or 'time of the essence' clauses.  Our team is ready to handle your Continuations.

The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.29% in the week ending September 22, up from 6.02% the week before, according to Freddie Mac. That is significantly higher than this time last year, when it was 2.88%, and it is the highest level seen since October 2008.
