Join us on Monday, July 15th at the beautiful Country Club of Virginia for a day of golf and fellowship as well as raising money to support Scouting in Central Virginia. Golfers of all skill levels are invited to participate in this Captain's Choice format event. You or your company can choose from one of the many sponsorship opportunities. Sponsors will be recognized for their generous support of local Scouting with signage at the site of your sponsorship choice, as well as all program materials.

Range and target activities provide Scouting the opportunity to instruct critical safe firearm handling to all age groups while also providing an opportunity for a Scout to learn self-discipline, concentration, mental discipline, self-reliance, self-esteem, problem-solving and responsibility. Range and target activities within Scouting programs will be updated effective September 1st. Cub Scouts... earn the new Summertime Fun Adventure this Summer! The National Summertime Pack award has been reimagined into an exciting elective adventure. This new adventure may be one of the simplest, it has one requirement and that is: anytime during May through August, participate in a total of three Cub Scout activities.

We're excited to offer Swim and Water Rescue and BSA Lifeguard training this summer at Camp T. Brady Saunders, from May 31st to June 2nd. This training allows you to be the supervisor on a swimming outing with your unit and to conduct swim tests. Participants must be at least 15 years old and registered with the BSA, must be able to complete the swimmer classification test, and must complete their online Safe Swim Defense, Hazardous Weather Training, and Youth Protection Training online.
