Dear friends of the Center for Irish Music,
We are also thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new website! You can find more details and a list of features below.
In addition to the Minnesota Irish Music Weekend Master Artists Concert (June 11th on the CJAC Outdoor Stage) and the Great Session Experience, don't miss the Thursday night Kickoff at the Urban Growler where you can:
- mingle with this year's visiting artists
- enjoy live music (bring your instruments)
- raise a special toast to Dáithí Sproule (and Skara Brae's recent TG4 award)
- celebrate the announcement of the Timothy "Fitz" Fitzgerald awards
- and be the first to hear about CIM's planned expansion at the Celtic Junction!
Finally, congratulations to our students who competed at the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil in St. Louis over the weekend of May 13-15th. You represented St. Paul with poise, musicianship and great tune playing at a rousing student-led hotel session on Saturday night. Our students brought many medals home! Best of luck to the many students who will travel to the All-Ireland Fleadh in Mullingar this August.
Enjoy the month of June, and see you next weekend!
