Social Bridge: A bit rusty? No problem.
Join us for a Social Bridge. "Two components of bridge promote healthy aging and therefore make it an ideal game for seniors. Bridge provides 1) a cognitive workout and 2) an opportunity for social interaction. The combination of these two key components sets bridge apart from many other leisure time activities for fostering a happy, active, and healthy brain."-The Second Half: A Lifelong Learning Institute.
We're looking for players who may be rusty....even very rusty...but know the basics to play. If we have a table of four or more we'll set a time and day soon to meet at Beth's house to give it a try. Contact Beth at bethmillerquinn@gmail.com
Yoga & Meditation: Tuesday & Thursdays at 9am
Make time to take care of yourself. Join our volunteer, Laurie Walker, for meditation and/or yoga online. In addition to whatever is going on in your personal life, we are all living in the middle of so many converging issues – health, geopolitical, environmental, and more. If we are going to thrive – we have to increase our resilience. Regular yoga practice is a powerful vehicle to do just this.
You will find tools of breath, movement, and meditation that promote a sense of calm resilience.
