Bailey is responsible for the overall financial health of the library system and will focus on further strengthening the Library’s financial position. He is also involved with budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and payroll.
Bailey joined Live Oak Public Libraries in August 2020 as Staff Accountant. Following a competitive process, he was selected as Director of Finance in November 2021. Bailey has more than ten years of accounting experience in various industries, including private equity and senior living. He also has a background in restaurant management.
Bailey holds a Master of Business Administration with concentration in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. He is a certified Accounts Payable Professional.
