Saturday Yoga: Aundra Anderson to lead weekend exercise sessions
|
On-site morning yoga sessions make their return this season after a nearly three-year hiatus. Aundra Anderson, owner of Fit with Aundra, has been leading group fitness since 2009 – and will be doing so right here for Haven Harbour Marina and Haven Harbour South slipholders and guests, all season long.
Aundra began her career coaching Zumba, HIIT and Cardio Kickboxing, and has since added High Fitness, PiYo and Xtreme Hip-Hop certifications to her repertoire. In 2020, she become Yoga Alliance-certified to lead yoga and received her personal training certification later that year. She specializes in hosting energetic and themed classes, as well as creating custom choreography matched to dynamic playlists.
"Yoga builds strength, balance and confidence" added Aundra. "It reduces stress, relieves back pain, builds energy and leads to better posture."
Sessions with Aundra begin Saturday, May 21, and are complimentary to marina slipholders and resort guests. Sessions will be from 8:15-9:00 a.m. at Haven Harbour Marina's beach picnic area, as well as 9:30-10:15 a.m. at Haven Harbour South's harborside beach. Attendees are asked to bring their own yoga mats.

We have recently adjusted the configuration and location of the trash and recycling dumpsters at Haven Harbour Marina. Where two trash dumpsters originally sat next to the travelift, there is now one dumpster for trash and another strictly for recyclables. An additional trash dumpster is located against the north wall of the paint shop. Please dispose of your trash in the trash-only dumpster, and not in the recycling. Thank you.
