Crochet Mesh Jacket and

Juniper Moon Farm Zooey Yarn

For the month of July, we are featuring this Mesh Jacket, a crochet pattern by Vogue Knitting (2017). We crocheted this sample in the large size using 4 balls of Zooey yarn. Zooey is a 60/40 cotton/linen blend ideal for the warmer summer months. This garment is the perfect swimsuit cover up at the pool or beach, or to keep the chill away at the movies. Click this link to buy the pattern on Ravelry for $6.00. It is a size-inclusive pattern with options from XS to 5X. Here is the desription from the Ravelry page:

this pattern "...features a trio of patterns: shell-stitch mesh for the main body, single crochet, chain 1 for the waistband and borders, and an open, long loop mesh for the peplum. Working from the yoke down with no seaming makes it easy to size to fit."

Open Stitching at Emy's Yarns

You have two opportunities each week to join us for open stitching. There is no cost to attend these sessions, and we often have snacks.

Thursdays 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Saturdays 12:00 - 4:00 pm

As a reminder, there is no instructor available during these meetings, but you may be able to get help from others who have joined the group.
