May 2024 Chapter Newsletter

Fairway Friends

Your 2024 Board is proud to announce the return of Fairway Friends! Fairway Friends is a great opportunity to network and to be paired up with someone in the Chapter who may have more experience! Golf is hard, but with Fairway Friends, it can be fun! We will be pairing up 'Mentors' with those who are interested in being paired up with a Mentor. Your mentor could be someone who teaches you the rules of golf, helps you explore new golf courses around the metro, or someone to play a round with occasionally.

We are seeking Volunteers for the Mentor Role. The only requirement is you have been playing for over 5 years to be a Mentor. Please email Fannie letting her know if you are interested and we will provide you more information on the program.

For those interested in being paired up with a Mentor, please email Vanessa to let her know! We will be reaching out with more information and your pairing the first week of June!

LEAGUE PLAY

Interested in getting out on the links with your fellow chapter members on a more regular basis? Check out our great leagues we offer during the week! See information below. This information is also hosted on our website. As a reminder, participation is KEY to continuing to host these leagues! If we cannot fulfill the spots each week, it makes it difficult for our hosts to maintain the tee times and annual presence at the course so please check these out and help our hosts fill their tee times!!!
