ST. JOHN VIANNEY PARISH
Community Update
for Sunday June 26, 2022
We say good-bye to Father John this weekend. Join us after all Masses for hospitality with Father John. We will have a reception for Father John after the Saturday 5PM Mass. Leave an online note for Father John here

Father John and I arrived at Saint John Vianney at the same time, July 1, 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. I have been impressed by his ability to adapt as a newly ordained priest whether celebrating Masses outdoors or livestream through the smoke of the fires of August 2020, teaching 5th graders the Sacraments through Zoom, bringing the youth and young adults over outdoor movies and scaring them in the Haunted House and connecting with you parishioners through the Vianney Show—all with his authentic self with the Fr John chuckle. Father John has brought a little humanity and humor in situations that have been difficult for our community and has shown what a joyful disciple who deejays could look like. I am deeply appreciative of his second and third years of priestly ministry here at Saint John Vianney. Join me this weekend in sending him off to his fourth year of priesthood at Holy Spirit in Almaden.

Do read on for the Eucharistic Revival that is an initiative of all the US Bishops including ours.

St John Vianney, pray for us!

Peace,

Fr Joe
