“We will not cease, and we will not give up until this world reflects less our nightmare and more God’s dream where there’s plenty good room for all God’s children. Hallelujah anyhow.”
Quanita Roberson and Tenneson Woolf will lead a two-day Circle Training for those interested in learning the ancient practice of Circle. In Becoming Beloved Community, we have been practicing circle as a way to deeply connect, listen, and tell the truth. This training will build capacity for the hosting of circle as we continue to invite and include others to follow Jesus as healers, reconcilers, and justice-makers.

The two-day training is April 10 + April 17, from 10-2pm on Zoom. Space is limited. Register here.

Confirmations will be sent with zoom link included. Questions? Contact Amy Howton, ahowton@diosohio.org

Last Saturday, a large gathering of Episcopal Asians and Allies came together for Stop Asian Hate, a service of lament, healing, and action in response to the rise of violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. It was hosted by Episcopal Asiamerica Ministries (EAM) in partnership with the Racial Reconciliation Team, and featured a message from The Most Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church, and witness and testimonies from around the Church.

In this webinar, participants who serve as faith leaders in rural areas will learn how to use missional intelligence mapping to clearly identify the pernicious presence and specific impacts of Systemic Racism in the communities they serve, so that they might develop practical strategies to effectively confront them. This webinar will take place on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 from 1pm-2pm (ET).

Unbreakable Solidarity is an online course that focuses on how we build collective power on the bedrock of interdependence and use this power to get free. As an organization that specializes in holistic, anti-racist education for white people, White Awake has designed this course as a political primer for people of all backgrounds who are seeking a deeper analysis of the roots of today’s problems and effective strategies for social and political change. Registration closes May 1.
The next round of sessions starts this week! Sign up here!

Founded in 2018, My Work To Do is an online affinity group designed to help white people build stamina for discussing racism, systemic injustice, racial healing, reconciliation, and justice in their everyday lives. Black, Indigenous and People of Color allies are welcome with an understanding this is a white-centered, and therefore not always safe, space.

We invite those feeling lost or overwhelmed into the conversation, especially white people who might not have a local anti-racism program or accessible discussion happening in their life.
