Seniors Allie Sarff, Ashleigh Zehala, and Ashley Allton attended Buckeye Girls State from June 13-19. Buckeye Girls State is a week-long program designed to educate Ohio's young women in the duties, privileges, rights, and responsibilities of good citizenship. Way to represent SFD!

Mr. Garrick has started his summer reading assignment, have you? All students are required to read one of the Summer Reading selections by the first day of school. Please choose one book to read from your class list. Each work contains a hyperlink to a summary from Goodreads.com to help you in your selection.

Summer Reading Challenge: Keep track of where Mr. Garrick is doing his summer reading throughout the summer and you may receive a prize! At the beginning of the school year, you can submit your answers; those with the correct answers will be entered into a prize drawing.

Students in an Advanced Placement class are required to complete additional summer assignments. This includes English, World Languages, Science, Computer Science, Math, and Social Studies.

*All Junior students are required to submit verification of a second dose of the MCV4 (meningococcal) vaccine prior to the start of their senior year. It is a requirement for all incoming seniors in Ohio. Families can email the verification information to school nurse Kelli Fitzpatrick at fitzpatrick@desales.co or bring in a hard copy to school.
