renamed Goff Street the
"Bishop D. L. Williams Way."
|
|
|
|
Goff Street has been the address of the C. H. (Charles Harrison) Mason Memorial Church of God In Christ (COGIC) since its inception in 1906.

Special accolades to Bishop Williams' son, Rev. Joseph Williams & his wife, Brenda; Bishop Williams' Grandson, Daryl V, Williams, Sr; and the many other COGIC congregants and supporters to make this long-awaited and well-deserved legacy tribute accomplished.

I considered him (& his lovely wife, First "Lady W") as my "Mentor Mother & Father."
In fact, i give him a special tribute in my book--DRIVEN TO SUCCEED: Lessons Learned through Faith, Family, and Favor--in the chapter, "Mentor Mothers and Fathers" (Pages 167 & 168).
