Chamber Connection
Pride 2021
Dear Chamber,
And just like that, Pride Month is coming to a close! What a busy month it has been for the Chamber. Here's a round-up of everything that happened.
2021 SEASON OF PRIDE LGBTQ+ JOB FAIR

In the heart of Pride Month, the Chamber hosted its 2021 Season of Pride LGBTQ+ Job Fair. This time, we adapted our virtual job fair format to allow job seekers to meet directly with hiring representatives from over 30 of our corporate and strategic partners. Between June 14–17, we hosted 8 separate Zoom sessions wherein hiring companies presented to attendees and explained their workplace culture, described their LGBTQ+ inclusivity practices, and shared current open positions. Attendees had the opportunity for a Q&A with the representatives to introduce themselves and what they were looking for as a next career step. During this time, our LGBTQ+ Job Board was more active than it ever has been before, both in terms of different companies participating and the overall number of postings — and it's still going! Visit business.malgbtcc.org/jobs to see which positions are still up and find the next job that's right for you.
STUDIO QUEER PREMIERE

Michael Bobbitt. Ana Masacote. Queerscope revealed the unknown, Queer Abby told it like it is, LGBTQ+ elders and TCNE inspired us, Swipe Right (featuring Alex Morse) brought that "rawr" factor, and LGBTQ+ businesses were featured so we can Buy Queer right here. The June 24 premiere of Studio Queer was a huge success!

Thanks to everyone who tuned in live, joined us at our Western MA viewing party or has watched the premiere since — we are grateful for your support! The next episode of the series bringing the best of LGBTQ+ life in New England to you is coming soon!
